Our neighborhood "Pioneer Day" parade!

About 15-20 kids in our neighborhood started the 1st annual 24th of July parade up and down our street dressed like pioneers and also having bikes and wagons. Sammy, Payden and Britty really enjoyed BEING the parade and throwing the candy. Here comes the Murrays leading the group decorations, balloons and all.
Amy and Grandma Mortensen are in the shade and ready to catch the candy!
Sammy wasn't too sure that pioneer children loved to wear bonnets. But she sure looked cute in hers!
And Brittian had the best seat in the house and got to eat/throw/eat the candy! Afterwards we had popsicles and played on the waterslide. All in all it was a smashing successful 24th party. Since we couldn't make it to Sanford, we just had to do our own thing!
